News Years Resolution 1: Learn to program!

In my quest to learn how to program by the end of the year, I recently purchased Build Your Own Database Driven Website Using PHP and MySQL (3rd edition) from Amazon. Unlike other books that I’ve purchased, I think this is a winner. It’s written very well and explain things in words that I can understand. I will begin building my jokes database based on the examples in the book and hopefully will post it up in a few months or so. If I am unable to learn the most basic of commands/coding then I think I will never be able to program, ever. Wish me luck folks while I conquer one of my new years resolution! :D
