I could not resist the temptation of the camera. As soon as I made my last post, I purchased the Canon Digital Rebel XT which arrived via DHL late yesterday.
One thing that should have been included in this pricey purchase was a memory card. There was none and I had to go to CompUSA to purchase one. It would have been nice to have one included so that I could take pictures right out of the box. I purchased the cheapest memory card I could find last night (retail is soo expensive), so that I could buy a Sandisk 1GB Ultra II CompactFlash card at Amazon.
With the speed of the camera, I took over a hundred pictures (mainly multiples of the same object) in the first hour. The resolution on this thing is just awesome. As an amateur photographer, I will probably be using the preset functions for the time being until I learn what “aperture” and those other words mean. :D
