Giving blood...

Posted 7 March 2005, 17:07 in Life 3 Comments

I am not sure if it comes with age, but for some reason I’ve begun having the urge of doing things that are meaningful in life. For this reason I’ve decided that it would be my time to start donating blood. Just like any normal human being, I am too terrified of needles. Believe it or not, I once fainted after getting an immunization shot when I was in grade school.

I’ll be going to the Blood Bank of Hawaii sometime in the next two weeks, the same time as my cousin’s girlfriend who regularly donates. This will definitely be an experience that I’ll blog about… wish me luck folks! :D

  1. I am not allowed to give blood because I have lived in the UK between now and 1984.. thus, I am a mad cow!

  2. I'm too scared for my moral conscience to kick in. Ugh, needles. Bad. A nurse who was doing injections at my high school was really bad at it - she had three shots at me and left my sleeve all spattered with blood. Yum.
