Happy New Years! Okay… the first 2 are from last year. I think I only had 2 things on my list in 2005, which of course was not accomplished. So I’ll be roll overing it to 2006 and add a few more things to the list, which I hope to get at least half must accomplish.
- Learn how to program (rollover from 2005)
- Get abs/6-pack (rollover from 2005)
- Work ass off at school & work
- Spend even more time with family (getting old, must cherish every moment)
- Party, drink, have a life (note to self, drinking may hinder 6-pack)
- Get better at Poker
- Get reaquainted with past friends
- Find new business opportunities/ventures/new investments
- Learn how to drive standard/stick-shift (just to know)
- Get better at photography
- Take at least 1 exciting trip
2006 shall be another transitional year for me. It’s a year when I’ll be moving my cheese!
As you can see, I’m heading back to school. I’ll be hitting my mid-20’s this year and I need to finish my degree for myself. In the last few years, I’ve been working hard in building a business which for the most part has been successful. I am currently in the process of selling my stake in the business and will focus on finishing my degree full-time. I still plan on working part-time and who knows, I might find another business venture in 2006.
It’s scary to think that I’ll be hitting age 25 in 2006. I do believe in quarter-life crisis, much like mid-life crisis where I’m worried about a lot of things in general. Stuff like where I’ll be in the next 5, 10, 15 years? and what would I have accomplished by then? It’s scary to think of things on a larger scale (the big picture), but I guess it’s better to seize the day by living each day to its fullest. Enjoy what’s happening today and not fear what will happen tomorrow. Have a great new year! :)
